The history of Hotel Lion d’Or began in 1839, with a drink. Or actually, with more than just one. The hotel started life as a public house, and that history is still honoured every day. In the Café Lounge, like the rest of the hotel, the contemporary ambiance is combined with authentic elements. Always elegant, never outdated. This stylish space is where breakfast is served each morning, after which time the Café Lounge is open all day for a great cup of coffee or something stronger. The finger food menu offers an ideal accompaniment to the drinks. Just as it all began 200 years ago – with a mug of beer and something to eat – but now in an entirely modern setting.
