Welcome to Golden Tulip Hotel Lion d'Or

The four star city hotel Lion d´Or is located right opposite the railway and bus station in Haarlem.
This central location makes it an ideal venue to have your meeting, business lunch and diner or to spend the night.
The hotel has been totally renovated in 2007, and the classic style and rich history now blend in perfect harmony with the modern design by architect Bert Verweij. Please note some rooms will be renovated between May 28 and June 15, 2012. The hotel will do the utmost to reduce any inconvenience to a minimum.

Sleeping

The hotel offers 4 junior suites, 21 superior rooms and 9 comfort rooms. The rooms are tastefully decorated and combine an atmosphere of elegance with all the facilities the business traveler expects: large working desks with extra 220V outlets, fast and safe WIFi via the T-Mobile Hotspot network, flat screen TV's showing up to 30 international channels, safety deposit box (most rooms laptop size), a trousers press, ironing facilities and coffee and tea facilities. All rooms are air conditioned.

Eating and drinking

Our cozy brasserie opensfrom 0700 to 2400 hrs for breakfast, lunch and diner. We serve both simple lunches, as well as exquisite à la carte diners from the frequently renewed menu. For your groups and parties special menus are available that can be fine tuned according to your personal preferences.
The hotel bar welcomes you in the evening for a drink and bite. Especially popular is the series of local Jopen beers.

Meeting

Our 3 multifunctional conference rooms are located on the ground floor. There is capacity for groups up to 120 persons. All audiovisual equipment is available on request. Each of our rooms has got its own individual atmosphere and is suitable for meetings, receptions and seminars as well as more private lunches and diners.
All rooms are fully air conditioned and there is choice between daylight rooms and privacy rooms.

Exhibitions

In the public areas we organize temporary art exhibitions. Works on display are all for sale. After exhibtions by local artists as TRIK, Joost Veerkamp, Alfred Ophof, this summer we hosted the exhibtion Turkartoon as part of the official celebration of 400 years diplomatic relations between Turkey and The Netherlands . Until March 25, 2013 we host the sales exihibition Energy(c) by Max Koning.
