These are handmade bikes, the used materials include bamboo and cactus fiber.

Welcome to Golden Tulip Hotel Lion d'Or
The classic city hotel Lion d´Or is located right opposite the railway and bus station in Haarlem.
This central location makes it an ideal venue to spend a night or longer, if you plan to explore the region.
The hotel has been totally renovated in 2007, and the classic style and rich history now blend in perfect harmony with the modern design by architect Bert Verweij.

The hotel offers 4 junior suites, 21 superior rooms and 9 comfort rooms. The rooms are tastefully decorated and combine an atmosphere of elegance with all the facilities the business traveler expects: large working desks with extra 220V outlets, fast and safe WIFi via the T-Mobile Hotspot network, flat screen TV's showing up to 30 international channels, safety deposit box (most rooms laptop size), a trousers press, ironing facilities and coffee and tea facilities. All rooms are air conditioned.
Our breakfast is served daily between 7 and 10am in the brasserie. Throughout the day you are welcome for a coffee, tea or other drinks.
Our 3 multifunctional conference rooms are located on the ground floor. There is capacity for groups up to 120 persons. All audiovisual equipment is available on request. Each of our rooms has got its own individual atmosphere and is suitable for meetings, workshops, receptions and seminars.
All rooms are fully air conditioned and there is choice between daylight rooms and privacy rooms.
In the public areas we organize temporary art exhibitions. Works on display are all for sale. After exhibtions by local artists as TRIK, Joost Veerkamp, Alfred Ophof, we hosted the exhibtion Turkartoon as part of the official 2012 celebration of 400 years diplomatic relations between Turkey and The Netherlands . Fall 2013 we hosted a Matchbook exhibition by Eric Coolen. Winter 2014 our guests could find out all about tehy ever wanted to know about alternative air refreshing (sustainable and cost-free) in the 3rd No Budget Toilet Exihibition by Hosper Architects. After the succesfui sales exhibition Bold and Beautifu by cosmopolitan artist Tos Kostermans, our fall 2014 exhibiton shows paintings by local artist Lard van der Pal, mostly city sights or landscapes around Haarlem. Our Kunstlijn invitée this year is Jolanda Prinsen, who shows some of her latest work based on the concept of recycling material.
